Our donation supported Rangasthala Yaksha Mithra Koota. Yakshagana artists put in strenuous effort during nighttime performances for decades, often for modest remuneration. Later in life, many are left facing poor health, poverty, and economic insecurity without the protections available to workers in organized sectors.
With the humanitarian intention of providing relief, Rangasthala Yaksha Mithra Koota honors artists financially each year with support from charitable gifts and funds in recognition of their lifelong contribution to this art.
